and in the world of astronomy and astrology, most auspicious, I understand, because New Year's Eve will be not only a 'blue moon' (which is the 2nd full moon within the month) but also a lunar eclipse, visible in the Far East.
All that has got to bring us Good Luck in this New Year of 2010.
The people of this poor, war and hate torn world need all the Good they can get.
So it's time to think about what I'd like to do on this website to make it more useful to you.
This last year I spent a lot of time on changing the design of the site.. to the detriment of content. That's done.
One thing I have noticed is that I've gotten much too wordy.. so I will make more of an effort to keep it "short and sweet". The difficulty of that is, with computers and beginners, its important not to leave anything out! I will try for a good balance.
I will write more hands-on exercises for you to practice.
I would like to have a more conversational "blog" because it's more fun to 'talk' to somebody, now that I know you're 'out there':...which means you need to be able to comment back on that same page. That will take a bit to set up, but I think it's probably the most important.
There will be more pages for those of you starting with Windows 7.. as soon as I get it myself.
I think I will give you opportunities to contribute to help others less fortunate.
I will start an email Newsletter, featuring other writer's articles, useful to you.
and the 'biggie'.. I will write at least one 'mini' e-book this year.
I hope to get acquainted with more of you through your comments and contributions, as that has been the most rewarding part of writing these pages for you.
So Happy New Year... and Bona Fortuna!!!
